Its been just 2 weeks since I launched Fusedthought.com and I must say I am quite happy how things have turned out so far.
Before this, I’ve set up hosting for people, managing servers for my school and the army, but never quite did the same for myself. As it turned out, I learnt a lot more doing it for myself as I can just jump in and try any new ideas which would be unwise to risk on a client’s / organization’s services.
In the short span of 2 weeks, there were DNS failures, server migration, plug-in malfunctions (among others) which took away quite a bit of my hair. . . I am sure (hopefully) that no one noticed any downtime on 31st January 2009, 0100hrs to 1st February 2009, 2130hrs, as my host moving server locations and I had switched to a mirror site of Fusedthought.com.
