I wonder how am I going to do my work this week. My one year old laptop is currently throwing tantrums. The computer screen is finished. I’ve already put in my Ubuntu Live CD to ascertain the problem was not due to my Microsoft Windows software or drivers.
It’s hard to describe what I mean by “screen is finished” so here’s a photograph below:
(For the record: The screen is not moldy. Neither is it oil stains. The result is also not due to the photograph lighting.)
What’s more, I found out that when I bought the laptop, the person who had sold me, misrepresented the terms of the extended warranty.The promoter gave us the impression that they are handling the repairs which isn’t the case. It’s already one-year and we can’t really do anything about that.
For now, trying to backup my data now.
Darn disappointed. Now my web projects got to put on hold. Hopefully my client will understand…
